Okay, a mean way to start a post on christmas. About the above quote, just ignore me. I used to love christmas, but well, as age catches up with me, turning me into a incessant rattling old hag, the love like other kind of love there is, starts to fade.
Enough about the "my love for christmas" thingy. I actually wanted to post about the true meaning of the word "Christmas" or "Xmas", no its not a stupid story with a moral of the story thingy, it's really meaning of the word literally. Do you even wonder why "Christmas" can also be written as "Xmas"? I can't post this right now as i left the piece of paper with the info inside at my new house, so just wait for the new post. I will also be putting up pictures in my next post, most probably.
I celebrated Christmas yesterday ( I have to go to the new house and help today, that's why I'm celebrating it yesterday.) in a most unusual way, especially when I'm doing it with my family. At 10am, I went to this place opposite science centre, for a Christmas celebration, it's for the lunch, really. 'kay, so next we went to IMM to pay some stuff, my bed frame, i guess. Later, we head down to Sim Lim Square to buy the router and the Windows Office software. We went to shop in the OG Bugis for a while and my mum found two pair pants and my sis, 2 pair of pants and a jeans short-sleeved jacket. Continuing with the journey, we went to Parco and saw this really beautiful Christmas tree. We loited around there for a few minutes and carry on to proceed to Vivocity. We went to dine at Sakae Sushi, went to shop like mad and stop by Swensen's to have some ice-cream, oh yes, we caught the midnight show at 12.25am it is printed on the ticket as such :00h25. We watched The Holiday. It was terrific!! A true blue chick flick, indeed. I just love the way Jude Law and Kate Winslet speaks, the accent was so nice!! One last thing, JUDE LAW IS SOOOOOOOO HAWT!!! Yup. He have lovely green eyes, i suppose, and pearly whites. =]
